Welcome to Captain Adrian LaSorte’s Guide Service, which is dedicated to providing flyfishers with very best trout, salmon and saltwater flats fishing in the East.
Testimonials
There's nothing more important to Captain LaSorte than a happy and satisfied client with a fish that's worth a quick photograph before being returned to the river. Here's a small sampling of "satisfied" clients, and some of the fish they caught. |
| Joan Wulff and her guest Tony Entwhistle show off a nice brown picked up during a trico hatch in mid-summer. It was a banner day for this expert team, who managed to bring to net several trout during a hatch that demands great presentations and perfect timing. |

From his stream-side home on the West Branch of the Delaware River
in Pennsylvania... to his winter headquarters on Tavernier in the
Florida Keys... to his fall
base-camp on New York’s famed Salmon River, Adrian offers the flyfisher
a variety of outings that will thrill the beginner and challenge the
expert. Here’s a
quick look:
(April
20 -September 30)
For
those who dream of leaping wild rainbows and rugged wild browns, Adrian
offers driftboat outings on the tailwaters of the West
and East branches of the Delaware, and the long, challenging eddies of the
Main Stem. The
Delaware is rated as one of the top 10 fisheries in the nation, and the
Best in the East.
Throughout the trout season, Adrian also provides streamside outings on
the fabled rivers of the nearby Catskill Mountains, including the Beaverkill,
Willowemoc and Esopus – streams on which American flyfishing
was born.
(September
1- December 31)
For those who want to experience the arm-wearying strength of a
record-sized king, coho or steelhead salmon, there’s streamside and
driftboat fishing on the fast-moving Salmon River, a major spawning
tributary of Lake Ontario. The
Salmon River boasts record-sized kings and cohos, and steelhead fishing
that’s hard to beat.
(February
1-April 15)
And, for those who want the challenge of
saltwater flats fishing at its best, Adrian offers flats boat and wade
fishing for bonefish, permit, redfish and tarpon throughout the 90-mile
string of islands that make up the Florida Keys.
It’s world-class fishing for world-class fish.
A lifetime

flyfishing experiences of their lives – a day on a beautiful river or a
